What pre-treatment and post-treatment is required before and after Laser Hair Removal?
For about six weeks prior to your laser hair removal you cannot have electrolysis, use waxing products, use depilatory or pluck in the spots that are being treated. Self-tanning products are not recommended to be used for 2 weeks before your treatment. For about two weeks prior to your treatment, avoid tanning and getting too much sun that can cause sun-burns.
It is recommended that you not go tanning or use self-tanning products for about 14 days after treatment. It is best to not use products that will irritate your skin for about a week after the procedure. During your laser hair removal treatment process and for five to six weeks after finishing these treatments, it is recommended that you use sunblock very often.
